Permit me to introduce to your notice the bearer, C. Dumreicher M.D., of Chicago - Dr. Dumreicher is a young man of sterling integrity - a thorough scholar - and a well educated and reliable physician and Surgeon. He would fill the office of Surgeon or assistant Surgeon to a regiment with skill and untiring attention to duty. I speak of him thus confidently, because I have known him intimately for a length of time, and know of no one in whom I would place more implicit confidence
