In compliance with the request contained in your letter of the 2nd instant, I am directed to enclose the permission for the examination of Capt. J. C. Scott, 136th Ills. Vols., (one hundred days men). The permit is issued for the Saint Louis Board, the one at Cincinnati, having been dissolved.
