US. Forces Louisville Ky.
Sir:
This will be presented by
Mr Charles Minor and Mr W.H [Rosine?] of Champaign
County Ills who have sons in 25th Regt and 31st. Regt
Ills Vols and both wounded in recent battle of
Chickamauga. They are both thoroughly loyal &
worthy citizens and would respectfully request
that permission may be given them to visit their
sons, should passes be necessary for their transit
to & within within lines of our army.
