Sir: I desire to call your attention to the case of F W Foote a private in 14th Ills Cavalry now under your charge and who it is represented has been in Hospital since last March. I would respectfully request that he be examined as to fitness for transfer to Invalid Corps and that his condition be reported to me if not inconsistent with rules &c.
Would further request that if found unfit for active service, and not proper subject for the Invalid Corps that he may be transferred to the Hospital at Chicago when under your instructions if can be done Please reply
