Gov Yates - Enclosed I send you a few paragraphs in relation to the publication of my report on the Geological Survey of the State, the only point about which I feel any anxiety - I shall make out a short Report of Progress, which I will ask you to submit with your Message to the Legislature, which will give the members some idea of what has been done, up to the present time. Hoping they will notice it so far at least as to have it read I remain
