                 Yours of the 19th recd recalling inquiries in regard to Dr (ineligle) is at hand.  I have not seen the Dr since, but I am advised of all his movements.  He has made no move (tracking?) his release, save an application to the Maj. Genl. Comdg, Dept of Mo. for a parole. That application was favourably endorsed by myself and other officers of the prison I think. The Dr's wife and children are now residing in St Louis. His conduct since he has been under my charge has been commendatory, and I should be pleased to hear of his release on parole.
