Hon Richard Yates Governor of said state I take my pen hand this Morning to in form you that I am one of the old soldiers Reading your call for one Redgeiment I feel desires to do my part If you will commission me as captain to raise one company under said call I will do the best I can wich I think that there can be a company raised here very easy Wishing to hear from you soon
