Dear Sir. please find enclosed the affidavit of myself in reference to procuring the discharge of my son. This I have made as near as I could according to the instructions given by yourself and clerk at Macomb on the 7th inst, I shall feel under lasting obligations to you if you will hurry this matter through I shall be truly happy to hear of your success
