I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your communication of Oct. 5th 1864 in relation to transferring (11) eleven Ill soldiers to Illinois Hospitals.
In reply I would respectfully state that not having the power to transfer soldiers from this Hospl, I have referred your communication to the Asst. Surgeon General
