Dear Sir,
I have been advised by some of my late Husbands friends John B Wyman to aply to you for the Pension of a General Widow. you will remember the Positions he ocupied in the army and the circumstances of his death I presume. my Pension is my only dependence and I have four children. my oldest is in the army yet as a private. will you please let me know what you think if [illegible] address Mrs Maria S Wyman Worcester Mass.
