Herewith enclosed I have the honor to send you a list of Republicans' in this co, made from memory The list of Jerseyville is large including all or nearly all who vote our tickets In the other precincts I presume the lists should have been larger but they include all of any prominence. There are in this county many Democrats of the better class who are not satisfied with the course of their party leaders & it seems to me there never was a more propitious time than the present for the diffusion of light. Hoping the lists may prove satisfactory I am with much respect
