            Description
In 1877, former Union Army soldiers built the Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Hall in Aurora to serve as a meeting space, library, and place of honor for war veterans. The octagonally-shaped building on the left is one and a half stories and features a small lot outside of the building with a flagpole. An addition on the south wing of the building was constructed in 1884. A large house sits next to the building.
