I cannot change my mind as regards to our troubles I am willing to carry out as I first proposed to in New York Consequently I cannot sign that paper and nor wishing to see you in the state of mind that you are now in I take this method of informing you just what I will do and all I will do and I will say further as you seem inclined to use me badly I shall resist all efforts legal or otherwise you may in Chicago or elsewhere undertake.
