We, the undersigned inhabitants of the town of Kettering, in the county of Northampton, desire to express, through his excellency the American minister, our horror at and detestation of the atrocious crime by which the President of the United States has been deprived of his life, and our deep sympathy with the people and government, as well as with the family of the late President.
