Gov Yates their is a call for Officer to command colard regiments Sir I have bin in the sevise since Augest 1861 til June 1863 was discharged from a wond at the battle of Stone river

i recoverd from it and i would humbly ask for a col or Major commision in a colard regiment

i have bin a vounteer in the 88 reg Ills vol

i have bin thoroughly
