My dear Gov.
Some of our boys at Fort Dennison Ohio, are writing home complaining bitterly that they are not transferred to some convaleseent camp in Illinois. I know but little about the matter, & promised their friends I would call your attention to it, Knowing that you would readily & cheerfully do all in your power to relieve them.
Write me a word so that I may tell them how it stands.
