Hon. Richard Yates,
Govonor of the State of Illinois,
Dear Sir,
I am in the 22d. year of my age, - Was a soldier in the 43' Regt. Illinois Vol. - Donalson - Was honerably discharged April 4th/62 at Savannah Tenn. for disability - Im nearly recovered - Want authority to raise a Company of home guards under the late call of the Sec'y of War.
