The bearer Mr. F. S. Simmons desires to visit Vicksburgh for the purpose of bringing home his nephew Lieuts Pratt of the 116th Ills Regt who is in a feeble and disabled condition there.
Mr. Simmons is a loyal citizen of this State and I would request you to render him such assistance as he may require to accomplish his purpose.
