The bearer Mr T M Waddell [illegible] is enroute to visit his brother Major Waddell of the 11th Regt now befor Vicksburg Mr Waddell is a loyal and respectable citizen of this State and I would request you to render him such assistance as he may require. He also has with him a horse and equipments which are for the use of the Major.
