                              Permit me to call your attention to my friend Dr Joseph Hughes, who wishes a position as Veterinary Surgeon in the U S Army.  He is all right, worthy of confidence & Esteem & has had Experience in the Service in said position & honorably discharged, but wishes again to enter the service.
